Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission has announced the first-ever Preliminary Eligibility Test for the Group C posts in the state. The test will be conducted as an eligibility test for the various recruitment announced and only the candidates who have a valid score card of PET can apply.

As per the official exam notice, UPSSSC PET 2021 will be conducted on 24th August 2021 in two shifts. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on Aug 20, 2021, which has been postponed now. Recently, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed the commission to start the recruitment process for 74,000 UPSSSC vacancies in UP Higher Education Services Commission and Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board after the meeting with the chairpersons of the commission.
UP PET will be conducted as a common test for all the group c recruitments to be commenced by the UPSSSC. The scorecard of the UP PET will remain valid for one year. A candidate who has a valid PET scorecard can apply online for Group C and Group D vacancies and participate in further processes.

It should be noted that the board will not send any hard copy of the admit card by post. - The Preliminary Exam Will be an MCQ type OMR Based Exam.
- The question paper will carry 100 Questions.
- The Time Duration of Pre Exam is 02 Hrs. (120 Minutes).
- Questions Standard of Pre Exam is High School Level.
- 1 Mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- There will be a Negative Marking of 0.25 (1/4) Marks.

UPSSSC PET Admit Card 2021 Details
The Commission has allotted the Roll Numbers and candidates should be able to download the UP PET Admit Card 2021 by logging in to the official website. The Admit Card download link has been activated 7 days before the examination date.
The board will not send the admit cards to the candidates’ postal address as mentioned above and in official notification as well. Thus, the candidates have to visit the official website and download the admit card online. The candidates should take a printout of the UPSSSC PET Admit card on A4 size paper.
Special Instructions: UP PET Exam 2021
Along with the PET admit card, the candidates must bring a Valid Photo ID card. Also, a recent passport size photo should be affixed in the given space on the UP PET admit card. The thumb impression should be pasted in the presence of the exam invigilator only.
